Practice
Manager
The practice manager, Deborah Haycock, is responsible for the overall running of the practice and welcomes any suggestions on how to improve the services the practice provides.
Practice Sisters
The surgery has three practice sisters: Greta O'Neil, Wendy Jarvisand Emma
Robinson. Our practice sisters see patients by appointment, which can be booked
two weeks in advance. They provide a wide variety of services including:
• Childhood vaccinations • Travel advice and vaccinations •
Family planning services • Cervical smears • Ear syringing •
Monitoring of chronic illnesses
• Medication reviews • ECGs • Advice on diet, smoking and alcohol
• Wound management • New patient checks
Health Care Assistant
Sharon Humphris and Jackie Deffley are our health care assistants who work alongside our practice sisters and are able to provide services including:
• Blood tests • Blood pressure checks • New patient checks
• Elderly patient checks • ECGs
Administration Team
Our administration team provide the
communication link between the patient, doctor, hospital, insurance companies,
health authorities and other agencies. They will try in every way to help you
and advise you on how to get the best from the many services we offer, whilst
respecting your confidentiality at all times.
Our administration team includes:-

District
Nurses
They assist with the nursing care of patients at home.
Health Visitors
All families with children under five years have an allocated heath visitor. The
health visitors are available for individual contacts, home visiting and child
health clinics. They offer support and advice on child development, managing difficult
behaviour and general parenting skills.
Midwives
If you are pregnant, the midwife will be asked to contact you so that she may
assist with your pregnancy care. She arranges antenatal clinics, relaxation classes
and visits you before and after your baby is born.
Community Psychiatric Nurses (CPNs)
Your doctor may refer you to the CPNs for help, support and counselling.
