Whooping cough cases increase

Community Midwives

If you are pregnant, the midwife will be asked to contact you so that she may assist with your pregnancy care. She arranges antenatal clinics, relaxation classes and visits you before and after your baby is born.

Community Nurses

The District Nursing team assist with the nursing care of patients in the home.

Health Visitors

All families with children under five years have an allocated health visitor. The health visitors are available for individual contacts, home visiting and child health clinics. They offer support and advice on child development, managing difficult behaviour and general parenting skills.
